Club Memberships

Wongungarra Alpine Ski Club Pty Ltd is a Non-Profit organisation whose primary aim is to partake in and promote the sport of skiing as outlined in clause ii)a of the Club’s Memorandum of Association, viz:-

“To promote the sport of skiing amongst the members of the club and to encourage the participation in snow sporting activities in Victoria.”

How do I become a Member?

Wongungarra memberships are limited to 30 to ensure a reasonable balance for accommodation availability between members and guests - not much good being a member if you can never book in!

From time-to-time memberships become available for transfer as people wish to resign from the club. The Club Secretary maintains a register of interest for prospective members, and when a membership becomes available will advise the first person on the list.

If interested, the Club Secretary and/or other Club Committee members will arrange to meet with the interested party to discuss the details of membership. The club member wishing to resign will then be put in contact with the registered party to make arrangements for the transfer (which is solely negotiated between the parties independent of the club).

Should the first person on the prospective membership list no longer be interested, then the second person is advised, and so on.
