Checklist of what to bring

The following is a suggested checklist, in no particular order, of what to bring when staying at Wongungarra.

Bring your own food and drinks.
Some gum/lollies in the car for the drive up if you have trouble with your ears popping at altitude.
Bring your own linen, doonas, sleeping bag etc. Blankets are not provided.
Pillows are provided but please bring pillow slips.
Bring a towel, facewasher, bath mat etc. Soap is provided.
Sun screen, lip balm and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
Boots with a bit of a tread!
Waterproof pants and jacket - ski-gear can be hired on-mountain, but you may need something to get to/from the car if it is inclement weather.
Hat - most of your body heat passes out your head.
Gloves - we suggest this is the one thing not to skimp on!
Plenty of layers like t-shirts, skivvy, woolly jumper and underclothing
Casual clothes for apres
Camera - the views are fantastic and you'll have to get a shot of you in the heart of the Victorian Alps.
Although there are shovels at the lodge, having your own in the boot of the car may be handy - if you have space that is!
Antifreeze in the car radiator is necessary.
Wheel chains are mandatory.
