Ski Hire

There are multiple considerations for ski-hire, where you can hire in your hometown before travelling, on the way to the mountain (around Bright and Harrietville), or on the mountain.

Convenience - there are plenty of on-mountain equipment hire shops which are convenient, and allow you to swap equipment if you have a problem during your stay.

Fitting time - however you can save on-mountain time by doing all the fittings prior to travelling, giving more ski-time.

Odd sizes - if you require odd sizes, particularly with boot fittings, you may wish to do this prior to arriving at the mountain where the choices tend to be the more regular sizes.

Cost - generally the rental prices are less off-mountain and you can get some good deals on demo equipment if you want that extra edge in performance. Consider however you may need an extra days hire depending on travelling times and duration of stay.

Transport - if you do hire off-mountain make sure you have space in the car to bring them!
